This innovative, professional base coat formula from Italy was specially developed to create a protective barrier between the natural nail and the colored polish. It allows you to peel the nail design off the nail like a sticker—easily, gently, and in one piece—after it has lasted 7 to 10 days—completely without solvents (solvent-free removal).

How it helps:
This product is an absolute lifesaver for the health of your natural nails. Since no nail files, drills, or harsh soak-off removers are needed, the nail’s natural keratin layer remains completely intact—it doesn’t thin out or split. The Peel-Off Base dries easily in the air, requires no UV/LED lamp on its own, and creates a perfectly smooth surface to which the subsequent layers of semi-permanent polish adhere optimally. It’s ideal for people who like to change their nail color frequently or who have sensitive, thin nails.

Application:

  • Preparation: Gently push back the cuticles. Clean the natural nail, degrease it (e.g., with MNP PH Prep), and, if necessary, lightly buff it with a soft buffer.
  • Applying the Base: Apply a thin, even layer of Lacqwear Peel Off Base to the entire nail.
  • Important: Make sure to cover the edges of the nails well.
  • Drying: Allow the product to air dry for 30 seconds (no lamp is needed for the base!).
  • Color & Finish: Next, apply the Lacqwear Gel Polish in 1 to 2 thin coats and cure each coat under the UV/LED lamp (30–60 seconds). Seal with a top coat, cure, and remove the sticky dispersion layer with the UV Gel Cleanser.
  • Removal: To remove, simply lift carefully at one edge of the nail and gently peel off the polish layer like a film.

Here’s a little pro tip: When applying the Peel-Off Base, make sure to leave a tiny gap of about half a millimeter from the cuticle. If you then apply the colored polish and top coat just slightly beyond that line, the base will be perfectly sealed, and your manicure will hold up perfectly for everyday wear without peeling prematurely at the edges!
