Returns will only be accepted if the product arrives at our central warehouse unopened and in original condition. The MNP (Mesauda Nail Pro) Lacqwear Base is a classic, highly professional base coat that was developed specifically for the semi-permanent nail polish system. Applied as the first layer on the natural nail, this base coat creates the essential bond between the nail plate and the topcoat that follows. Its perfectly balanced, fluid consistency forms a protective, ultra-thin film over the nail, instantly smoothing out minor imperfections and creating a mirror-smooth surface.

How it helps:
This product is the most important protective barrier for natural nails during a long-lasting manicure. The base reliably prevents highly pigmented colored polishes (such as deep red or dark shades) from seeping into the natural nail and leaving unsightly discoloration or yellowing. Thanks to its highly elastic texture, it flexibly absorbs everyday impacts and mechanical stress. This effectively protects the manicure from chipping or premature peeling and guarantees flawless durability of the UV nail polish for up to three weeks.

Application:

  • Preparation: File the nails into shape as usual, gently push back the cuticles, lightly buff the nail surface, and prepare the nails with a dehydrator (e.g., MNP PH Prep) and a primer (MNP Lacqwear Primer).
  • Applying the Base: Apply a thin layer of Lacqwear Base to the nail. Be sure to work with extreme precision and avoid touching the cuticles. Important: Use the brush to thoroughly coat the front tip of the nail (nail edge).
  • Curing: Allow the nail to cure completely under the UV/LED lamp for 30 to 60 seconds (depending on the lamp’s wattage).
  • Next Steps: After curing, a sticky tack coat (dispersion layer) remains on the nail. Do not wipe this off, as it serves as an adhesive base for the Lacqwear Gel Polish. Proceed directly with your chosen color.

Our tip:
The Lacqwear Base is the absolute foundation for a result that looks like it just came from the salon! A very common mistake is applying the base too thickly—this can cause the product to become wavy under the lamp or run into the cuticles, leading to annoying lifting after just a few days. Our pro tip: Wipe the brush thoroughly on the neck of the bottle before applying. Coat the nail with a wafer-thin, almost dry layer. That’s all it takes to provide optimal protection for the nail and ensure a rock-solid bond for the color polish!
